# Create a Mezo Account

> Easy steps for creating your Mezo account and getting started with Bitcoin finance.

Create an account in the Mezo App to manage rewards, bridge assets, borrow and mint MUSD, and access Mezo Market.

## Create Your Account

    Go to the [Mezo App](https://mezo.org/overview)

  <Step title="Start Sign In Process">
    Click the **Sign in** button
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Sign Up Option">
    Click **Sign up** and sign in with your browser wallet

      If you want to use an Ethereum wallet, click **Sign in with Ethereum instead** at the bottom of the sign in window.

  <Step title="Connect and Confirm">
    Connect your wallet and confirm the transaction to complete the sign up process
  </Step>

## After Account Creation

After you sign in and sign the transaction, your wallet will be connected to the account. You can bridge BTC from alternative addresses, but your connected wallet manages the account.

## Supported Wallets

Mezo supports both EVM wallets and BTC wallets:

### EVM Wallets

* MetaMask
* Brave Wallet
* TrustWallet
* OKX Wallet (with limitations - see [wallet connection guide](/getting-started/connect-wallet#okx-wallet))
* Any wallet that supports custom EVM networks

### BTC Wallets

BTC wallets are fully supported in the Mezo App and can receive a Mezo network address associated with your BTC wallet.

**BTC wallets can currently:**

* Bridge BTC assets
* Bridge EVM assets
* Borrow, repay, or manage collateral for a loan
* Purchase items on the MUSD Market
* Receive assets on the Mezo Network

<Warning>
  BTC wallets cannot currently send assets on the Mezo Network. As the network evolves, more features and capabilities will be made available to BTC wallets.
